Welcome to All about Beauty with me, Amy!
Honestly I can't even tell you how excited I am to start this blog and to make some new friends while sharing my love and knowledge of skincare, makeup, and anything to do with helping us look and feel our absolute best.
I'm 36 years young and have been working in the beauty industry for a little over a decade. I own a med spa in Winnipeg Canada, which I also opened during the pandemic...I know a little ballsy, but you only live once as far as I know, so just do it was my thoughts at the time, and if it fails, at least I can say I tried. Knock on wood I'm still rocking it, but it has been an emotional rollercoaster of highs and lows I was not expecting. I guess the saying: "what doesn't kill you makes you stronger" might be my new Moto for 2022. One blessing though through opening my business is the new people I meet, my clients, who then become friends and just as I share with them all my beauty tips, now I can share them with you because of this blog! That to me is just worth it!
I always wanted a big sister growing up to help do my makeup, borrow her clothes, and to answer all the questions I'd be too nervous to ask my mom about. Now that I'm older, wiser hopefully, but definitely full of knowledge for all things beauty I can now share with you through this blog! The beauty industry is my passion, learning new skin treatments, skincare brands, makeup products, honestly, I live for it and I love sharing them, so you, my friends and clients can learn about it and try it for yourselves. I have a huge heart and I would never steer you wrong with anything, especially if I find the best concealer ever made, you best believe you'll be reading it here. So thank you for taking a couple minutes out of your day and tuning in, and I'll see you at my next blog!
